Dr. Oz: Are Bones Stronger Than Aluminum with Bill Nye?

By on February 23, 2010

Dr. Oz and Bill Nye the Science Guy, TV show host of shows like Stuff Happens with Bill Nye, were asked by Mary-Anne if bones are stronger than aluminum?

Dr. Oz and Bill Nye showed Mary Anne that in some cases, bones are quite a bit stronger than aluminum.  They hung a 2 Liter of soda on a piece of aluminum from an aircraft, and it bent in half.  Then they did the same thing with a bone from a T-Bone steak, and the bone did not budge even with the 2 Liter of soda hanging on it.  Therefore, this urban legend is true!
