Dr. Oz: Do Doctors & Nurses Have Trouble Finding Your Veins?

By on March 11, 2010

Doctor Oz was asked by a lady what she can do to make her veins easier to find when she goes to the doctor’s office or to the hospital.  She is always told that she is a “hard stick” and that it is hard to find her veins.

Dr. Oz recommends drinking extra fluids and water before going for blood tests if you can, because that will help your veins to swell.  Also, if you lie down while they take your blood, it can sometimes help too.
