The Beauty Detox Foods Review
Kimberly Snyder, author of The Beauty Detox Foods, told Dr. Oz the foods you eat have a direct impact on your appearance because they nourish your body from the inside out. Kimberly says she notices a difference in patients in as little as three days as their skin begins to glow, plus she says a wonderful side effect is weight loss as you begin to eat a more healthy, natural diet. She and Dr. Oz started by sharing the beauty detox foods you need to eliminate from your diet:
- Processed foods
- Refined sugars
- Artificial sweeteners
Dr Oz: What Is Dulse?
Kimberly Snyder says if you have bags under your eyes it is a sign your kidneys are not functioning properly and you are lacking in hydration.
Dulse: This is a sea vegetable that has a wonderful salty flavor, but is low in sodium. Kimberly says it also contains potassium, iron and other minerals making it a wonderful way to help reduce the bags under your eyes.
Dr Oz: How Can You Get Rid Of “Crow’s Feet” On Your Face?
Women often complain about “crow’s feet” on the outside of their eyes. Kimberly Snyder says they are caused by increased levels of cortisol, which is released by the adrenal glands when you are stressed or not sleeping well.
Red Cabbage: Eat 1 cup of cabbage 3-5 times per week to help with crow’s feet because just one serving contains 80% of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C. Kimberly says cabbage is cheap and easy to find, which makes it a wonderful food to add into your diet.
Health Benefits Of Watercress
Patchy skin is another common complaint women have about the skin on their face. Kimberly Snyder says this is often a sign of poor circulation because not enough oxygenated blood and nutrients are getting to your skin.
Watercress: Kimberly explained watercress is another easy-to-find and inexpensive detox food that is also high in iron, which helps your red blood cells carry more oxygen all around the body. She recommends eating it raw by adding it to your favorite salad.
Beauty Benefits From Eating Beets?
Have you ever looked into the mirror and thought your face is not only getting wrinkles, but also that it simply looks a little gray and dull? If so, this could be a sign your lymphatic system is not working properly to drain toxins from your body as efficiently as it should be.
Beets: Beets contain an antioxidant that specifically supports your liver, which in turn supports your lymphatic system.
