Dr Oz: Drew Manning’s Fat to Fit Plan
Personal Trainer Drew Manning shared the following 3 Rules To Weight Loss with Doctor Oz :
Dr Oz Spinach Shake Recipe
First of 3 Rules To Weight Loss. Get your carbs from veggies and supplement with whole grains. Start your day with a spinach shake!
Spinach Shake Ingredients:
- 3 cups of spinach
- 2 cups of ice
- 1/2 banana
- 2 Tbsp of peanut butter
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
Mix the ingredients in a blender and enjoy. Dr Oz had a few audience members try the drink and they said it was delicious and that they couldn’t even taste the spinach. (Aside from the green color, the shake looked pretty good!)
2nd of Drew Manning’s 3 Rules To Weight Loss: Eat 5 small meals throughout the day, preparing main components on Sunday.
3rd of Drew Manning’s 3 Rules To Weight Loss: Weekends are for splurges (Drew enjoys cookies and burgers when he goes out, but be careful and still eat these things in moderation.)
Dr Oz: Hand Step Ups & Plank Workout
To do this, get face down in front of plank. Alternate hands up and down on the plank as fast as you can for about 45 seconds. Be sure to breathe in between. This exercise is a great shoulder and core workout. Tell me how it works for you in the comments section below.

Drew Mannings before as fit and after degeneration in health in only 5-6mos of following the SAD diet was one of the most profound B+A’s I HAVE EVER SEEN. Those who are obese have felt bad, sluggish, winded, depressed for SOOOOO long, it’s hard to imagine feeling and looking better. But to see how dramatically Drew’s body responded to toxic processed foods has possible changed my life. Especially when Dr. Oz explained the link between his sudden weight gain and the effect it had on his liver and kidney function – finally, a light went on and I understood. More than the dangerous affects of inflamation to his organs but a stressed liver mirroring that of an alcoholic and how plaque in arteries ‘kills the kidneys’. I’ve been impressed by Joe Cross’ “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead” but feared the withdrawl from foods during a similar 60-green juice fast followed by Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s Eat to Live plan. But, this interview with Dr. Oz & Drew may have ‘scared me straight’ (ha). Keep up the good work Dr. Oz, especially in dispelling the truth about clean eating vrs. advertisers ‘health’ food ads. I would love to see a follow up of Drew’s ‘back to lean & healthy’ on Dr. Oz, I’m sure one is in the works!
I will definitely try the spinach shake and the other 5 small meals a day and try my best to make this a life style change. Just have to get my husband on board. It’s hard for him with traveling during the day and only home in the evening for supper, but he’s here for breakfast so hello spinach shake for him and the evening meal will have to fall into one of the food groups that are healthy. He needs about a 30 lb. weight loss and I need about 15lbs. Wish us luck Dr. Oz.
Spinach shake? For breakfast? How revolting.
Have you tried it Hefter? It’s absolutely delicious and you cannot taste the spinach at all.
