Dr Oz: Oolong Cinnamon Iced Tea Recipe

Dr Oz’s first metabolism boosting weight loss tea is an Oolong-Cinnamon Iced Tea (how delicious does that sound!).

Ingredients

4 cinnamon sticks (helps you use sugar more efficiently)
4 Tbsp loose oolong tea or 12 oolong tea bags
3C water

Directions

Boil water
Turn off the heat and let the tea and cinnamon steep for 5 minutes
Remove the tea bags and pour the concentrated tea into a jug
Fill the rest of the jug with cool water
Put the tea in the refrigerator for 3-4 (until chilled)
Enjoy!

Dr Oz: Iced Ginger Green Tea Recipe

Ingredients

12 quarter-inch slices of ginger (fresh)- metabolizes carbs more efficiently
4 Tbsp loose green tea (blocks fat absorption and helps raise metabolism)
3 C water

Directions

Boil water and then turn off heat
Allow the tea and ginger to steep in the boiling water (5-7 minutes)
Remove the tea bags and pour the concentrated tea into a large jug
Fill the rest of the jug with cool water
Chill tea in the refrigerator for 2-3 (or until chilled)
Enjoy!

Dr Oz: Grapefruit Mate Tea Recipe

More of a citrus fan? Dr Oz’s next metabolism boosting weight loss tea is a refreshing grapefruit mate tea recipe that sounds perfect for the this Prodyne Infusion Pitcher.

Ingredients

1 whole chopped grapefruit (contains Vitamin C to help you break down fat)
4 Tbsp loose mate tea (or 12 mate bags)
3 C water

Directions

Boil water and turn off heat
Allow tea and grapefruit to steep for 5-7 minutes
Remove tea bags and pour the concentrated tea into a large jug
Fill the rest of the jug with cool water
Chill tea in the fridge for at least 2-3
Enjoy!

Dr Oz: Pear Infused White Tea Recipe

And here is the final metabolism boosting diet tea from Dr Oz’s Show – the Pear-Infused White Tea.  I personally think that adding some peaches could also be divine (and it should be a snap if you have this Prodyne Infusion Pitcher… sounds like a good summertime hostess gift for me!!!).

Ingredients

2 chopped pears (helps to lower blood pressure)
4 Tbsp loose white tea (contains antioxidants)
3 C water

Directions

Boil water and then turn off heat
Allow tea and pear to steep for 5-7 minutes
Remove tea bags and pour the concentrated tea into a large jug
Fill the rest of the jug with cool water
Chill in fridge for at least 2-3 hours
