Dr. Oz’s Radio Show: Westwood One & Harpo Radio Partnership

By on March 3, 2010

Westwood One is going to be distributing a daily feature on the radio from our loved Doctor Oz! In addition, on the weekend there will be a 3 hour program featuring Dr. Oz in addition to Gayle King and various additional programs from Harpo Radio (Oprah’s radio station). According to Forbes, Gary Schonfeld (President of Westwood One Network Radio) said “Gayle King and Dr. Oz both connect with their audiences in a personal, powerful way that is perfect for radio today, and our combination of talk shows, music programming, and features on weekdays, evenings and weekends, offers a wealth of talent to our affiliates and advertisers.” Dr. Oz is already the host of a fabulous talk show on Sirius XM Radio through Oprah’s channel 195.

I checked out Oprah’s radio schedule for this week, and Classic Dr. Oz Shows will be on Thursday and Friday from 3-4am and from 4-5pm. The Dr. Mehmet Oz radio show will be Monday – Friday from 4-5am, 1-2pm, and 10-11pm… with a special two hour edition of Dr. Mehmet Oz on Friday from 5-7pm. Yet another great reason to get Sirius Radio!
