Dr Oz: 30 Second Heart Test
Dr Oz’s Show on July 10, 2012 discusses 5 Warning Signs of the #1 Killer of Women – Heart Disease. Doctor Oz put together a 28 Day Heart Disease Plan and even gave a Healthy Heart Stretch along with a 30 second heart test. Did you know that testing the flexibility of your arteries (and thus the health of your heart) could be as easy as standing up and bending over to touch your toes? Apparently there is a correlation between your flexibility in touching your toes and the overall flexibility of your arteries in your heart. So go ahead, stand up and bend over to reach your toes. Are you able to touch your toes without bouncing and by simply relaxing your hips? Leave your results in the comment section below!

Dr Oz shared the 5 Warning Signs of the #1 Killer of Women, plus a 30 Second Heart Test and a healthy heart stretch!
Dr Oz CRP Test
Dr Oz also discussed the C-Reactive Protein Test (also known as the CRP Test), which is a more formal way to test your Heart Disease risk than Doctor Oz’s 30 second heart test mentioned above. You can ask your doctor to run a CRP Test. If your results are under one, then you are in the lowest risk level and should be very proud of yourself. If your CRP Test results are between one and three, then you have an average risk of Heart Disease. And if you have a results of over three, then you fall into the most high risk category, which means you are three times as likely to get Heart Disease and four times as likely to die from it. That is some definite food for thought!
Big Daddy’s Chicken Sriracha Stir Fry
Dr Oz was also joined by Big Daddy, who cooked up a delicious Chicken Sriracha Stir Fry Recipe. Aaron McCargo, Jr (more commonly known as Big Daddy on the Food Network), put together this recipe to go along with Doctor Oz’s 28 Day Heart Disease Prevention Plan. Have you tried Big Daddy’s Chicken Sriracha Recipe? If so, please leave a comment below and share how it turned out!
