Dr Oz: Mediterranean Breakfast Pizza Recipe
Dr Oz gave a Mediterranean Breakfast Pizza Recipe that is also known as an Immunity Booster!
1 whole wheat pita
1 Tbsp low-fat cream cheese
1 tsp garlic
½ C baby spinach
3 thin slices tomato
1 egg
Directions
Spread one side of pita with cream cheese.
Put pita on a microwave safe plate.
Place a handful of spinach on top.
Top spinach with tomato slices and garlic.
Crack egg in the center of the pita. (Dr Oz did this perfectly!)
Microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes (depending on how you like your egg cooked.)
They pulled the finished product out of the microwave and folded the sandwich over. Dr Oz tasted it and loved it.
Dr Oz: Apple Pie Bulgar Recipe
Dr Oz gave a Apple Pie Breakfast Bulgur Recipe that he referred to as a Mood Elevator Recipe.
½ C bulgur
¾ C apple
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla
1 C water
2 Tbsp Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp walnuts
Directions
Soak bulgar
Mix all ingredients (except yogurt and walnuts) in a microwave safe bowl
Microwave on high for 3 minutes
Top with yogurt and walnuts
Dr Oz: Slimming Southwest Omelet Recipe
Dr Oz’s next microwave recipe is called the Slimming Southwest Omelet (or the Fat Burner).
2 eggs
1 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp black beans
2 Tbsp bell pepper
2 Tbsp low-fat cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp salsa
¼ sliced avocado
Directions
Beat eggs and water together
Pour mixture into 1 medium-size (resealable, steamable-made especially for the microwave) sandwich bag
Add beans, peppers, cheese
Add a pinch of salt and pepper
Seal bag and lay flat in microwave (follow bag directions)
Microwave on high for 1 minute (or until eggs are set)
Carefully open bag and slide omelet on to a plate
If you like, add a little more salsa and avocado on top.








I find your recipies very informititive and helpful. I am a parpeligic and in a wheelchair due to doctors takeing their time finding a growth wrapped around my spine causeing me a lot of pain.
