Dr Oz: Acne & Pimple Home Remedy – Ear Wax & Q-Tips

Doctor Oz did a segment on his viewer’s Beauty Secret Home Remedies and an audience member on Dr Oz’s show spoke about this Acne or Pimple Home Remedy using your own ear wax and q-tips.  My stomach turned when I heard about this Acne Home Remedy!  Gross!  Would you use this home remedy if it actually worked?  I am not sure that I would be able to bring myself to do it, even if it did clear pimples.  Leave a comment below and share with everyone if you would actually do this Acne Home Remedy if it did work!  I absolutely love when Dr Oz does these home remedy segments, because especially during this rough economic times, we can all really appreciate the concept of a “Pantry Spa” or making a spa with items in your kitchen pantry! 

Luckily for us, Dr Oz said this Acne Home Remedy absolutely does not work.  The ear wax in our ears actually traps dirt and debris, so by removing the ear wax and putting it on your face, you are actually clogging your pores.  Plus, Dr Oz said it is a bad idea to put anything smaller than your pinkie finger into your ear, because you can traumatize your ear canal or the membranes in your ear.  But back to Acne Home Remedies.  One of my favorite Acne Home Remedies is this Acne Dermabrasion Home Remedy.  Have you tried an Acne Home Remedy that works?  Please share your home remedies with everyone by leaving a comment below with how to do your home remedy!
