Dr Oz: Best Beauty Products Of The Last 30 Years
Tara Kraft, Shape Magazine Editor, discussed two fabulous beauty products: Aquaphor and John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease. Also, check out Dr Oz and his wife, Lisa, on the cover of Shape Magazines 30th Anniversary edition. Inside this special issue you can find Shape’s Best Beauty Products over the last 30 years.
Dr Oz: John Frieda Frizz-Ease
1. John Frieda Frizz-Ease Original Formula Hair Serum ($10): The Dr Oz Show had Paula, an audience member, try out this product before the start of the show. They washed, dried, and styled Paula’s hair. When they brought her out, her frizzy mane had been tamed and was now shiny and bone straight. The audience loved it.
According to Tara, it’s the silicone that gives the hair the shiny appearance. It also doesn’t wear the hair down and make it look greasy.
Dr Oz: Aquaphor
2. Aquaphor ($5): This product is a healing ointment for skin irritations. I have heard that Aquaphor is amazing for diaper rash too … even better than Bordeaux’s Butt Paste, Desitin, or the other diaper rash creams. If you are the mom of a newborn, please feel free to chime-in with your opinion on Aquaphor to clear up diaper rash!
It was also mentioned that Aquaphor is great for shining shoes, but that’s off topic!
Everyone in the audience went home with Shape Magazine’s 30th anniversary edition. (No mention of the products, though. Personally, I would’ve loved to have gotten the products, too.)
