Dr Oz: Energy Boosts
Are you ready to supercharge your energy? Good, because on today’s Dr Oz Show, Dr Oz showed you the quick and easy fixes to end your energy crisis based on your Energy Type. Find out how to get that boost in just 24 hours!
Dr Oz: Probiotic Puree Energy Boost
For a quick and simple energy boost, Dr Oz says to puree any fruit or vegetable into 1 C base like applesauce or guacamole. Stir in 1 Tbsp of the puree into a smoothie for a delicious, healthy pick-me-up.
Dr Oz: Siberian Ginseng Coffee Filter Energy Boost
Another way to get a quick energy boost is to add 30 drops of Siberian Ginseng extract into ½ C of water. Soak a coffee filter into the solution and leave overnight. Use the filter when you make your coffee the next morning.
Soak Nuts to Remove Phytates
Doctor Oz says when you eat nuts, you don’t get all of the healthy nutrients and you miss some of the key elements. For an energy boost, bathe your favorite nuts (peanuts, walnuts) in purified water overnight to wash away phytates, which can slow down the absorption of healthy minerals.
Dr Oz: Frankincense Pillow Puff
Did you know you can get energy while sleeping? Dr Oz say for a quick pick-me-up the next morning, place 30 drops of frankincense extract into a handful of cotton balls and stick under your pillow. You’ll wake up refreshed and have plenty of energy for the day.
Doctor Oz also discussed 3 cheats to help your skin look younger, which included;
Dr Oz: Butterbur for Allergies
Looking for a quick cure during allergy season? Doctor Oz says butterbur can help you relieve itchy eyes and a runny nose. Take 50 mg 2 x per day
Dr Oz: Tomato Sugar Face Exfoliator
They’re not just for sticking on your salad anymore. To get rid of fine lines and dry skin, Dr Oz says create a tomato scrub by dipping a cut tomato in 1 tsp of sugar. Rub the tomato half onto your face in a circular motion. (The sugar granules help exfoliate the skin). Let sit for 10-minutes and then rinse.
Dr Oz: Tahini Peanut Butter Substitute
For a great tasting way to help keep your skin looking younger, Dr Oz says try eating tahini, which is a paste made of ground sesame seeds and is rich in B vitamins. It’s also high in calcium. Put some on a whole-grain slice of bread and add honey for a delicious energy booster.

You are missing a very important ingredient to the probiotic puree. You need to include the key ingredient, the probiotic, which Dr. Oz said to stir in a tbsp of probiotics per cup of purée. Otherwise, I love all of the information you provide about one of my favorite television programs. Thank you!
