Dr Oz: Cottage Cheese Pineapple Rosacea Facial
In this segment, Dr Oz introduced Dermatologist, Dr. Ellen Marmur, MD to help show you how you can get great looking skin with ingredients straight from the fridge.
Dr Oz: Dry Flaky Skin Face Mask
Dr. Marmur mixed the ingredients together and then smoothed it onto Samantha’s (a Doctor Oz audience member) face. Leave the mixture or you can cover it with a cold washcloth soaked in water or soaked in green tea. Leave it on the face for 10 minutes. Do this 3 times a week for moisturized skin.
Dr Oz: Rosacea Facial
Rosacea: This condition affects 16 million people and leaves skin red, irritated, and flaky. Karen, an audience member, tried medicated creams and over-the-counter soaps. Those products only hurt and made it worse.
- 1 cup of cottage cheese
- Minced quarter cup of pineapple
Pineapple has vitamin C and decreases the redness. The cottage cheese is like milk to smooth and calm the skin. Dr. Marmur mixed up the ingredients. (Be sure to drain some of the water from the pineapple.) Dr. Marmur smeared it onto Karen’s face. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Do this 3 times a week to relieve red, dry patches.
