Dr. Oz: Unhealthiest American Steve with Bob Harper & Mike Roizen

By on April 7, 2010

Doctor Oz checked in on the Unhealthiest American Steve, who weighed 441 pounds when Dr. Oz met him.  Steve was helped by Dr. Oz along with Bob Harper (from The Biggest Loser), Mike Roizen and Kristin Kirkpatrick from the Cleveland Clinic… so lets see how he has done!

Four months later, Steve has stopped smoking, he lost 30 pounds and was doing well.  However, Steve hurt his knee and ankle, and then quickly lost motivation due to his job and other reasons.  So Dr. Oz gave Steve a 4 step motivation plan that all of us can use to get back on the weight loss diet train!

Dr. Oz’s 4 Step Motivation Plan for Diets & Weight Loss

1.  Portion Distortion

Steve is actually eating too little!  A good example of a lunch would be a lean turkey sandwich and a side of hummus with carrot sticks.

2.  Visualize the Finish Line

Take photos every week so that you can see how your body is changing.  If you take photos and post them online, share them with us below in the comment section!  It will provide great inspiration to everyone else!

3.  Automate Workouts

Workout first thing in the morning so that you don’t have any excuses.

4.  Support Groups

The biggest secret at the Biggest Loser Ranch are support groups!  Find a support group and help support each other… lets form our own support group… comment below if you would like to be a part of a Dr. Oz Fans Support Group!!!
