Deepak Chopra’s Stress Fighters
Dr Oz did a segment with Deepak Chopra’s 5 Minute Meditation to relieve stress. Need more ideas to de-stress? With the help of Meditation Guru, Deepak Chopra, on today’s show, Doctor Oz showed you 4 secrets to help combat stress. These simple changes have big results that can transform your life forever.
Deepak told Dr Oz that he does these 4 simple secrets every day.

Sharona, an audience member, told Doctor Oz that she struggled to manage her stress. She signed up for Dr Oz’s Transformation Nation to help lose weight. (She lost 27 lbs and looked great.) She joined Dr Oz’s Transformation Nation the same time she joined Weight Watchers (which has partnered with Dr Oz’s Transformation Nation.) She wanted to lose weight as well as improve her overall health. She admitted to still struggling with stress, though.
Stress Less Starter Breakfast
- 1 Tbsp of flaxseed oil
- Hard boiled egg
- Tomato
- Cucumber
- Drizzle with olive oil
Drink a little bit of the flaxseed oil after your breakfast. It contains omega 3 fatty acid and reduces the impact of the stress hormone.
Dr Oz Endorphinate
This supplement helps you to stress less. Take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Dr Oz presented the entire audience with a bottle to take home.
Dr Oz Chyawanprash
This Indian gooseberry contains vitamin C, which helps in the prevention of the stress hormone. This product is also an energy booster, rejuvenator, health tonic and more. One of the chief advantages of eating Chyawanprash is that it purifies the blood and paves way for elimination of toxins. It is also quite effective for the liver.
Dr Oz Ujjayi Breath Darth Vader Breath
Deepak calls this technique the Darth Vader breath. (Star Wars Fans know exactly what this should sound like then.) The following steps can be done with the eyes open:
- Breath through your nose
- Constrict your throat
- Make a noise through the back of it as you exhale
- Do 5-10 reps
Your heart rate will go down and you will immediately feel relaxed. Dr Oz had the entire audience try it.
