Nate is one of the most well known Interior Designers and he recently wrote a book, The Things That Matter, to help you get physically and emotionally organized in your own life. Nate Berkus says there are simple things you can buy and use in your home to help alleviate stress in your life. When it comes to anxiety, Nate says to buy an ottoman and when you arrive at home sit down and put your feet up and relax while appreciating everything you have in your life. He says to give yourself permission to just sit comfortably for a few minutes, even in the middle of the day if possible.

Nate Berkus says that we simply cannot be happy or relaxed if we live in a messy space with lots of clutter. To help declutter, Nate recommends using beautiful boxes or trays to group and store things together. He says this simple task will help you to feel much happier in your space.
