Dr Oz: What’s In Dr Oz’s Medical Cabinet?
Be truthful, you’ve always wanted to know what Dr Oz kept in his medicine cabinets, right? Today you get that chance, after learning what is in Dr Oz’s Kitchen. Doctor Oz took you inside his home to show you his tried and true remedies for common ailments such as Myrrh Oil for Canker Sores, Aloe Vera Gel for bad breath and Mentholated Topical Cream for Toenail Fungus.

Dr Oz spoke about Myrrh Oil for Canker Sores, Aloe Vera Gel for bad breath and Mentholated Topical Cream for Toenail Fungus
Dr Oz says the only traditional medicine he used was aspirin and ibuprofen. He kept 2 toothbrushes and used a special toothpaste so his gums didn’t become irritated. He has a timer and brushes for exactly 2 minutes. He used one toothbrush to scrub in the morning and the other toothbrush to gently massage his gums at night. He also has 2 mouth guards he wore in order to keep his teeth from grinding. Dr Oz said he kept his medications and home remedies in his kitchen because it’s cooler and not as wet as the bathroom.
Dr Oz: Myrrh Oil for Canker Sores
To get rid of canker sours (or other mouth issues) use 5 drops of myrrh oil in 3 oz of water. Swish and rinse 2 x per day.
Dr Oz: Aloe Vera Gel for Bad Breath
To help get rid of bad breath, try mixing ¼ cup of pure aloe vera gel to ½ cup of water, then drink. It has the right consistency to soothe stomach discomfort, which can cause bad breath. This remedy deals with the cause of the bad breath rather than masking it.
Dr Oz: Mentholated Topical Cream for Toenail Fungus
To get rid of toenail fungus, try applying a mentholated topical cream directly onto the infected nail. Apply to the infected area 2 x per day (in the morning and in the night.) It kills odor too.
Dr Oz also took you to one of his most sacred places where cameras have never gone before—his dressing room. He showed you what must-have items he kept in his sanctuary away from home.
Dr Oz: Beano
Next to his healthy snacks, Dr Oz kept a bottle of Beano. Beano prevents gas and bloating, especially if you’re eating beans, which are good for you. Take one capsule before eating gassy foods.
Dr Oz: Dental Floss
Dr Oz’s dental floss stretches and grabs the plaque. (Be sure to get the teeth in the back of your mouth!) The material is less damaging to the skin. Dental floss is good for the gums and the heart.
Dr Oz: Baby Wipes
Doctor Oz kept baby wipes in his dressing room bathroom. They contain vitamin E and aloe vera and are soothing to the touch, unlike toilet paper, which can cause irritation. They’re also flushable.

How often do I need to use aloe Vera gel for bad breath
I have Aloe Vera oil, not gel. Can I use the oil on a soar in my mouth?
