Doctor Oz brought Dan and Meagan on his show several months ago to help them lose weight.  Dan was 319 pounds and Meagan was 283 pounds.  They both were engaged and ready to get married, but they wanted to lose weight before walking down the aisle.  So guess how well they have done?

Meagan has gone wedding dress shopping and picked out a strapless wedding dress (you looked fabulous in your wedding dress photo Meagan!).  Both Meagan and Dan said the main thing that helped them lose weight was the support they received by HealthWorks and Dr. Roizen.  Of course, not all of us have the support of Dr. Roizen and Healthworks, but we are putting together support groups through this website for people who are trying to lose weight and get on a health lifestyle. Meagan and Dan’s sex life has improved too – they used to be a lights off couple, and now they are a lights on couple!  It is easier for them to feel sexy and frisky now that they have lost weight.

Dan & Meagan’s Truth Tube Results:

- Dan’s Waist: went from 55″ to 42″

- Dan’s Weight: went from 319 pounds to 266 pounds

- Meagan’s Waist: went from 47.5″ to 39″ (she is now out of the danger zone, which is 40″)

When you workout, you should try to work out more than one muscle group at a time.  Dan and Meagan use a Resistance Band to do squats and back rows (where you squeeze your shoulder blades together while you pull back).

Doctor Oz had Annie on his show 3 months ago, because she was struggling to lose the 60 pounds that she gained with her first baby.  Annie went from a size 6 to a size 16, and she wanted Dr. Oz to help her to lose her post pregnancy belly bulge!

So how did Annie do?  It has been just three months, and she has regained her confidence, she feels sexy, her sex life is MUCH better and she seems extremely happy.  Annie is a hair dresser and has encouraged the women she works with to lose weight with her.  One of Annie’s big tips is to find new ways to prepare the food you love.  For example, Annie loves tacos and now she makes a taco recipe out of fiber wraps, turkey and veggies.  Here are Annie’s Health Taco Recipe and Annie’s Breakfast Smoothie Recipe.

Annie’s Post Pregnancy Weight Loss Tips:

Doctor Oz was asked by a woman named Lisa if her 56 year old husband’s decreasing sex life could have anything to do with blood pressure medication.

Dr. Oz said that beta blockers (commonly used for high blood pressure) and water pills (which make you go to the bathroom a lot so that you don’t retain water), both are associated with a reduced libido.  If you are overweight or have a big stomach, this can also be a huge problem for your sex life and libido.

1.  Prevent digestive problems when you fly on a plane by taking some Crystallized Ginger Candy with you.

2.  Avoid lunchtime temptations.  Pack your healthy dinner for lunch the next day.

3.  Keep a food journal.  This will help you to understand your cravings.
